Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how the free trial, cancellations, and refunds work for Best Video Editor ("we", "us", "our"). Payments and billing are handled by Stripe.

1. Free trial

Every new account starts with a 14-day free trial with every feature unlocked. No payment card is required and you are not charged during the trial, so there is nothing to cancel to avoid being billed.

The trial is limited to one per computer. Signing up with another email address on a device that has already used its trial will not start a new one.

2. Subscriptions & renewals

You are charged only if you choose to subscribe once the trial ends. A subscription starts when you complete checkout and then renews automatically each billing period (monthly) at the price shown at checkout — the Founders price of $19.99/month for the first 6 months, then $29.99/month — until you cancel. Applicable taxes are added at checkout based on your location.

If you never subscribe, you are never billed.

3. Cancellation

You can cancel at any time. When you cancel, your subscription stops renewing and you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. To cancel, use the account/billing option in the app, the customer portal / billing link, or email our support address and we'll help.

4. Refunds

Because a 14-day free trial with every feature unlocked is provided so you can fully evaluate the Service before paying, subscription charges are generally non-refundable. Cancelling stops future charges but does not refund the current billing period.

We may make exceptions at our discretion, and we will always honor refunds where required by applicable law (for example, certain statutory consumer rights). If you were charged in error, were charged after cancelling, or believe there is a billing problem, contact us within 14 days and we'll review it promptly.

5. How to request help

For any billing question or refund request, email our support address with the email address on your account. Refunds, when granted, are issued through Stripe to your original payment method.
